Chicken Pomodoro Recipe

Ingredients

  • lb Chicken Breast sliced into thick pieces
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 6 Garlic Cloves minced
  • ¼ tsp Crushed Red Pepper
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes
  • cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup Fresh Basil chopped
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan. Brown chicken to give it some color. Remove chicken before it is cooked through.
  • Add onions and saute until softened and translucent.
  • Add garlic, salt, pepper and crushed red pepper.
  • Add tomatoes and mix well.
  • Add cream and mix until you have a uniform color.
  • Put chicken back in the pan and cook on low heat until tender and done, about 15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and add the basil, and stir in. Serve hot with rice.
