For the Salad
- 1 Romaine Lettuce Heart
- 1 cup Cucumbers chopped
- 3 Green Onions diced
- 1 cup Tomato diced
- ½ cup Mint Leaves chopped
- ½ cup Cilantro Leaves chopped
- 1 Pita Loaf toasted and crunchy
For the Dressing
- ⅓ cup Olive Oil
- 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 Garlic Clove pressed
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sumac
Chop all vegetables and place in a bowl. Mix well.
Add the salt, sumac, crushed garlic and stir in.
Add the lemon juice and olive oil.
Break toasted pita into small irregular pieces, and mix in with salad just before serving.
Do not dress until ready to serve.
