Ingredients

For the Salad

  • 1 Romaine Lettuce Heart
  • 1 cup Cucumbers chopped
  • 3 Green Onions diced
  • 1 cup Tomato diced
  • ½ cup Mint Leaves chopped
  • ½ cup Cilantro Leaves chopped
  • 1 Pita Loaf toasted and crunchy

For the Dressing

  • cup Olive Oil
  • 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Garlic Clove pressed
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sumac

Instructions

  • Chop all vegetables and place in a bowl. Mix well.
  • Add the salt, sumac, crushed garlic and stir in.
  • Add the lemon juice and olive oil.
  • Break toasted pita into small irregular pieces, and mix in with salad just before serving.
  • Do not dress until ready to serve.
