Week #5: Louisiana – Shrimp Po’ Boy Sandwich

This week, I was definitely leaning towards wanting to make one dish in particular.

This week, I was definitely leaning towards wanting to make one dish in particular.

I love rice dishes so I was hoping to make Jambalaya.

But, even though I didn’t this time, I definitely will soon!

I put the vote to my Instagram and Facebook followers to choose between two classic Louisiana dishes:

Jambalaya OR Shrimp Po’ Boy Sandwich

Shrimp Po’ Boy Sandwich triumphed as the winner!

You can watch the full recipe below.

If you want to cook along, I used this recipe from Key Ingredients: Louisiana Shrimp Po’ Boy Sandwich

Hey bff, I just watched the shrimp sandwich video, what a shame you two aren’t still living next door, cooking great food when you are not hungry enough to eat it yourselves (sadly our fence has started to show signs of moss growing on top) !
What a team , love it , you doing your cheffy stuff and Harriet on behind camera vocals adds a whole new dimension , it comes across as so naturally unscripted it has a real charm about it .
Missing you two, keep up the good work 👍 xX
